These are non-magnetic, encapsulated in a black anodized aluminium case, the end caps are brass, they are potted in a highly thermally conductive resin. These resistors have gold-plated oxygen-free copper leads.

ST-70 Capacitors  (V-Cap ODAM / V-Cap Tone)

A "top-of-the-line" capacitor offering for the ST-70. V-Cap ODAM is a Reference Grade Capacitor (Oil Damped Advanced Metalized) . THE ODAM series is a ‘wet’ capacitor, meaning the entire winding is not only 'impregnated' with fluid, but also immersed & hermetically sealed in it... forever... The leads are cryogenically treated OFC copper.

The (4) .1uF coupling caps are V-Cap ODOM, the (2) .047uF bypass caps are V-Cap TONE (Copper Foil in Oil). Made in USA. (V-Cap ODAM is not available in a .047 value, that's why I use the TONE caps for the bypass).

ST-70 Capacitors  V-Cap TONE / MOD

Another top-of-the-line capacitor offering for the ST-70. The V-Cap TONE is a ‘wet’ PIO capacitor, which means the winding isn't just impregnated, but also fully immersed in fluid, and then enclosed with mil-spec glass hermetic seals. Unlike many traditional ‘oil cap’ designs, your TONE cap will NEVER dry out. Solid-core, tinned pure copper leads.

The four .1uF @630V coupling caps are V-Cap TONE Reference Grade Capacitors (Copper Foil in Oil)  , the two .047uF @ 600V bypass caps are from MOD (Wet, hermetically sealed copper foil polyester film immersed in oil) . Super smooth and detailed presentation. Very pleasant and engaging.

ST-70 Driver Board Upgrade

Only available for ST-70 Audiophile Series builds that use the Amtrans AMCY Capacitors and Amtrans AMRG Resistors. There is no change to the original circuit, only slight modifications in lead spacing and some adjusted spacing between components to provide a better fit and overall appearance for these rather large components. These features will allow for better cooling, reduced EMI and eliminate the chance of eyelet and lead contact with the metallic bodies of the components. This board also is made specifically for using the modern small pf capacitors at the 390 and 82pf locations. These caps are small but considerably better in performance than the usual silver mica caps. These caps use the NPO C0G dielectric that is more linear and durable. Made on Black FRP with plated through holes and it looks really nice in the amplifier.

Barrier Block Terminals

Add "McIntosh Style" speaker terminals to your ST-70. Retains the 4, 8 and 16 Ohm ohm output connections. Helps eliminate stray wire contact between terminals. Very robust build quality and can even be used with the Spade Terminal to Banana Plug / Binding Post Adapters (see below)

(Sold only in quantities of 4) Add binding post / banana jack capability to you speaker terminals. These are super handy if you don't fancy the idea of connecting bare speaker wire directly to the screw down terminals. Makes connections much easier and a bit more reliable.

ST-70 Stereo / Mono Switch Delete

If you do not want the stereo / mono switch on your ST-70 select this option. The chassis opening will be blocked off when the switch is omitted and the amplifier will operate in stereo only. NOTE: If you plan to use the ST-70 in a monobloc configuration you will need the switch to be installed.
